BCG: the 2023 recruitment process

According to our internal sources and the feedback from our candidates, we can confirm that the BCG (Boston Consulting Group) recruitment process for internships and permanent contracts will evolve from September 2023. The following detailed recruitment processes concern in particular the BCG offices in Paris and Casablanca.

Permanent recruitment: 3 rounds

Round 1

Aptitude test (30 min):

• 80 GMAT questions
• tests the speed and the ability to progressively improve your responses
• Non-knockout
  ‍

Interview with a Consultant (1 hour):

• FIT exchange (15-20 min)
• case study (30-35 min)
• questions to the interviewer (5-15 min)
• in French (part of the interview may be in English to test the candidate's level)
• by videoconference (zoom)

Round 2

Interview with a Project Leader (1 hour):

• FIT exchange (15-20 min)
• case study (30-35 min)
• questions to the interviewer (5-15 min)
• by videoconference (zoom) or in person 
  ‍

Written case study (2:30):

• 2 to 3 questions
• analysis of a corpus of documents and preparation of handwritten slides (2 hours)
• presentation in front of a Project Leader who plays the role of the customer
• In English
• tests the ability to pose hypotheses to prioritize effectively, to select information and to manage the relationship with a customer contact person (senior)

Interview 1 with a Principal or Partner (1h) - free format but generally:

• FIT exchange (15-20 min)
