Who is John Legend?

John Legend is an American composer, pianist, actor and singer of soul and R'n'B. In particular, he is known for having won the 2015 Oscar for best musical score for the movie Selma. He also won 9 Grammy Awards, including in 2006 and 2007 for the songs Glory and Ordinary People.

From a young age, John Legend has been passionate about music. Gospel and Christian songs encouraged him to throw himself into music body and soul. He will also release his first album Get Lifted in autumn 2004, under the label GOOD Music, containing collaborations with Kanye West on Number One and with Snoop Dogg on I Can Change.

What is its relationship with BCG?

John Legend is a 1999 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the 8 prestigious universities in the American Ivy League. He began his career in New York at the Boston Consulting Group. His former colleagues indicated that he was a talented consultant, good at working in a team and showing real ease with Excel. Although he enjoyed his experience at BCG, he decided, after 3 years as a consultant, to pursue his passion for music. And we can say that he had flair!
